I feel like for my first entrée into (onto?) beBee, I should just warn everyone what they're dealing with and start with a rant—and some marketing advice.

www.linkedin.com Pop some popcorn, put on the Jaws soundtrack for ominous mood music, and settle in. It’s time for a (long) rant. I will endeavor to make this as entertaining for you as possible, including gifs....

#1 Thank you! I'll be exploring for a bit to see if it's something I want to recommend to my coworkers.

#2 Thanks! And I have a great relationship with those sales people because of it. They know the deal and don't pressure, and I have an in when we do decide to get those services.

I've used the wordpress 'intense debate' plugin on a number of my blogs, and it seems to do a good job at spam filtering a lot of this garbage. Even worse than the cold comments like you got are the short ones that look like they're from a reader: "I read your blog and I find your approach to this topic to be enlightening." - and the address is from 'scam-scam-scam@getrich.ru'

That was a fun post Ashley... Totally relatable. I love the "For some services, I’ll even reach out to the salesperson to tell them that no, we can’t afford Hubspot/Kapost this year, but call back next year because I want your programs."
