They happen when they do, as they do - not so much 'poetry' - but a definite travel-log of where my hear was at that moment.

And so it is - and so it was yet again, seemingly forever
I am not your kind, not your one, you - never my only
I wanted the world - never to settle, surely down
Kisses across the globe were but a distraction
A theater of smiles and hope that we told and believed
It has all been a grand tour of mini melo-drama
There must be much to be said - and yet we are both silent
We both know it was destined to never be the fairytale
Cold rain, cooling hearts, tepid tea - flat vodka
the perfect postcript to what never was, never to be.
