    #1 Yes, I was in customer service for quite sometime as well. We were taught to put a smile in our voice. We also had to document the entire conversation, which kept us well aware of what we said.

    Very disappointing that this is the type service (I use that term loosely) from some companies. The worst I have come across is my current cable company. My blood pressure goes up when I know I have to contact them because the service is so bad. I have been in customer service for 10+ (we won't mention how many plus) years. My directive is always to make sure each customer knows they are my top priority.
