    Performed production engineer and advisor roles for Joint Venture between CNPC & PDVSA implementing resource recovery strategies to produce 125 Kbpd of bitumen from an Eastern Venezuela asset. Implemented commissioning, start-up and ramp up actions achieving 70 Kbpd initial production from 48 horizontal wells with operations in an upstream flow station and a downstream water and oil continuous treatment plant. Provided leadership and displayed operational and safety excellence daily as well as environmental responsibility when evaluating production facilities and well’s down-hole production equipment configuration. Assumed a lead role during the emergency situation of exposure of Company field personnel and hired Contractor teams to abnormal and lethal levels of H2S gas environment in critical well testing work activities.
