Executed value-adding and project cost-outs, built prototypes and performed associated testing. Prevent and correct manufacturing issues impacting product function. Assessed customer complaint devising strategies to address issues. Approved packaging as well as materials, components, and vendors (procurement). Key Accomplishments: • Developed tooling and assembly fixtures to seamlessly and cost-effectively integrate with production. • Earned the “Best Customer Complaints Reduction” award in 2015, and “Best Kaizen Project” awards in 2014 for implementing scrap reduction projects and improving mfg. issues, reporting savings above $172K.
