The successful candidate in this role will provide support to customers using Triconex systems for Turbo machinery Control Applications. This role provide an opportunity to work in the Canadian Oil & Gas and petrochemical industry and provide valuable knowledge and experience.

Job Description:

The successful candidate is expected to carry
out the following responsibilities.

Hands on experience on Triconex, Trident and TriGP
Systems.
Wonderware InTouch HMI experience.
Experience developing Tubo machinery Control Applications for Compressors, Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines and Generator applications.
Commissioning and startup experience of TMC systems in petrochemical, oil & gas upstream and downstream processing facilities and Power plants.
Troubleshooting and maintenance experience on Triconex
systems.
Configuration, commissioning and start up experience on Generator AVR systems.
Experience with Triconex software including TriStation,
TriLogger, SOE recorder.
Networking design and troubleshooting experience.
Flexibility to travel to sites with in Canada and US to provide maintenance, commissioning and start up support for TMC Projects.
Qualifications
A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of Triconex Systems and Turbo machinery control, anti surge and Generator control applications.
JOB COMPLEXITY
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.  Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
SUPERVISION
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.  Determines and develops approach to solutions.  May function as project lead or supervise/mentor other personnel.
EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a minimum of 10 - 15 years of Triconex experience on Turbo machinery Control Applications. Eligibility to become APEGGA member is preferred.
