The position is located in Montreal, more specifically in the "Data Enterprise" department.
 
The role of our future business analyst (BI) is to link the business teams (CRM, Marketing and Customer Support) and technical teams (architects, developers) to transform business needs into effective and sustainable BI solutions.
 
You will participate in the life of the central BI platform of the group. You will intervene in 3 main phases: the integration of customer data (specifications, tests, documentation), reporting and support to users.
 
As such, your main missions will be:
Analyze and synthesize information provided by stakeholders;
Develop, format and maintain the most relevant reports possible for the CRM, Marketing and Customer Support, and management teams;
Identify business rules, functional requirements, non-functional requirements through cases and  stakeholders;
Direct the gathering of requirements for applying technology solutions to satisfy corporate needs;
Work with the architects to develop integrated processes and technology solutions;
Produces high quality written content such as:
All requirements in the form of a Business Requirement Document (BRD) ;
Solutions to those needs in the form of Functional Requirement Document (FRD),;
Fit/Gap analysis;
“As is” and “to be” Business Process Models (BPM) workflows;
Use Cases;
UML diagrams, Use Case Diagram and Activity Diagram;
high level data flow diagrams with the support of the architects,;
Story boards and workflows;
Tests Plans for the Quality Assurance team;
Change management documents (training, communication);
Communicate and solve the Fit/Gap analysis with all stakeholders impacted.
On a regular basis, facilitate and maintain the interest of the stakeholders;
Participate in the evaluation and benchmarking of market solutions when required;
Participate as member of the team on parts of the project plan;
Being available daily for questions from the project team;
Create tests cases and conduct manual testing;
Support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase;
Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation of the new solution;
Market and socialize the solution;
Participate in the Business Analyst community;
Evangelize the business analysis good practices and mission;
Carry out all other related task.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS

Formation
Master's degree in information systems or equivalent;
Minimum 2 years experience in the field of Business Intelligence;
Experience working in an international context.
Compétences requises :
Very good analytical and synthetic mind;
Excellent command of SQL in creating complex queries and extracting data;
Knowledge of Teradata or SQL Server;
Knowledge of a reporting tool in developer mode (if possible Tableau);
Good written and oral communication skills (whether in English or French);
Rigor, flexibility and curiosity in your work;
Ability to handle complex situations requiring openness and diplomacy;
English imperative.
 
Bonus :
Experience in a Big Data environment and with a Hadoop ecosystem;
Good knowledge of customer data and Marketing and CRM business processes;
Knowledge of project management (if possible Agile methodology);
Knowledge of the video game industry and experience as a player.
