What is the opportunity?

Are you a self-motivated and organized individual with a proven track record in sales? The Client Solutions Advisor role may be the opportunity you have been looking for!

As the Client Solutions Advisor you will focus on winning Primary customer relationships by selling to new and existing clients that originate from indirect (non-branch) channels in the assigned market area. You will offer financial services and solutions that will meet clients’ individual needs.

This exciting opportunity has a variable compensation structure. You will receive a base salary as well as the opportunity to receive quarterly and annual sales incentive bonuses based on performance.

What will you do?

·Proactively engage in contacting identified customers to drive business and revenue growthby growing Scotiabank’s primary customer base

·Grow primary banking relationships by identifying and selling relevant products tailored to individual customers acquired from our indirect delivery channels

·Ensure excellent customer service is delivered by leveraging outstanding sales and customer service skills

·Develop and maintain a relationship of mutual trust and confidence with customers, your Client Solutions team and your partners

·Identify and effectively hand-off newly developed customer relationships to the appropriate Financial Advisors within Scotiabank branches, thereby deepening the customer relationship with Scotiabank.

What are the qualities and skills that you’ll need to succeed?

·Demonstrated and proven track record of successful sales and effective closing skills (minimum 3 years)

·Friendly rapport and ability to quickly assess customer needs

·Excellent Time-Management skills - you have the opportunity to manage your own schedule based on the needs of your customers – this will require discipline and flexibility in order to meet required service level agreements and expectations

·Self-motivated – you will be working independently

·Relationship building and relationship management skills – in addition to your customers you will also be working closely with your team and other business partners within Scotiabank

·Ability to identify sales opportunities within the indirect channel delivery team as well as referral opportunities for the Retail Branches

·Technically savvy – as this is a mobile role you will need to be able to work with smart phones, tablets, etc.
