DEKALB Summer Assistant- Southern Alberta-01SW1Description We are seeking
a highly motivated DEKALB Summer Assistant for the Summer of 2019 supporting Southern
Alberta area.  From your first day as a
Summer Student you will be a contributing member of the team with meaningful
responsibilities. You will gain valuable experience and developmental feedback.
It’s a great way to get the inside track on how an industry leader works.

The terms of
these positions may vary slightly based on environmental conditions and
availability of candidates.  However, the terms will typically start in
April or May and end between October and November.  This is an ideal opportunity for anyone
interested in pursuing a career in agriculture to experience working with world

Coordinate and manage DEKALB Market
Development and Demonstration Trials for Canola, Corn and
Soybeans  Assist with communication to DEKALB retail
and grower customersCoordinate field signing programsAssist with retail and grower summer tours
and promotional eventsOther duties and projects as required
Qualifications Qualifications:

A current student pursuing an Associate’s (Diploma),
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree program and returning to their
program upon program completion in the following areas:  Agriculture or
BusinessStudent must be immediately returning to school on
completion of programHighly motivated with the ability to work
independentlyStrong organization and time management
skillsStrong communication skillsWillingness to accept responsibilityGood understanding of agronomic practicesValid driver's license and a good driving
