Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a leader for our Radeon Technologies Group Customer Engineering (RTG CE) team. Based in Markham, Ontario, you will lead the North America arm of the Worldwide RTG Graphics CE team and be the conduit for the Taiwan and China teams to the North America based development organization. You will lead customer enablement activity across our graphics products, manage customer escalations and innovate how we support customers. This includes managing relationships with key customer contacts and driving closure of escalations by working with the extended organization, enhancing scalability, helping to build flows between development and our worldwide CE organization and driving learning back into development.
 
Education and credentials
Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field with at least 15 years of experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. Must have leadership experience in a customer support role. System and graphics experience preferred.
 
Skills and Experience
Proven leadership in a customer support/engineering role supporting hardware and software
Track record of growing team skills/capability
Technical experience in software development and/or hardware
Prior experience with computer products such as Notebook or Desktop products preferred
Extensive customer facing experience and adept at handling difficult situations/circumstances
Skilled at working in global environment
Experience managing challenging cross-organization issues and successfully handling escalations
Demonstrated executive level communication skills
Passion for and experience in driving change and process improvement
Demonstrated success in issue analysis, looking for trends and driving data based organization change
Ability to collaborate and interact with Sales/Marketing/Engineering
