Reporting to the head of Finance, the Director of  Real Estate is responsible for Ubisoft’s real estate strategy. He/she is accountable for scouting and securing facilities, managing building assets and operations, designing and developing new spaces, planning for future growth, delivering construction projects and leading business continuity initiatives with our Canadian studios.
The right candidate is visionary, strategic and able to lead complex real estate discussions. He/ she is strong in customer relationship, a hands-on problem solver, process-driven, analytical and a skilled negotiator. He/she ensures our employees have the right spaces to drive productivity and promote collaboration, and follows industry trends to drive innovation into our buildings and ensure our facilities remain a local benchmark.
What you'll do
Lead multi-disciplinary structure of 20+ employees
Perform buy/ lease analysis, structure strategies and carry out related negotiations
Support Real Estate market analysis and site feasibility studies
Oversee leasing and construction activity across Canada and provide advice to local studios
Monitor the diligence, strategy and acquisition of investments
Act as thought leader in all aspects of Real Estate management including –but not limited to-  building and asset investments, facility maintenance and operations, building design and construction and risk management
Ensures clients’ need are met
Promote collaboration amongst teams and change management
Manage data and reporting, and drive process/ technology improvements
Deliver on corporate goals (KPIs, occupation, scheduling, budget management and safety compliance)

What you bring
University degree in Management, Finance, Civil Engineering or related
12+ year experience in Corporate Real Estate negotiations, investments and equity
4+ year experience in Real Estate development and construction
Knowledge of Canadian Real Estate market
Expertise in lease administration
Strong project management, communication and presentation skills
Strong business and financial acumen
Capable of leading multiple projects and managing constantly changing priorities
Masters degree considered an asset
PMP and/or Procurement experience considered an asset
