What is the role?
We are looking for an
Plant. Reporting to the engineering manager, the electrical designer will work with engineering team on electrical distribution equipment control, metering and protection projects. This is an interesting opportunity for people who doesn’t like routine and are willing to work with many collaborators.
Main responsibilities are:
Detailed single line, three-line and control schematics for our low and medium voltage products per customer specifications and needs;
Search for required electrical components;
Wiring and component layout diagrams for production;
Issue material list to purchasing using our MRP system;
Support and answer questions from shop floor collaborators.

Plus, you have the following quality and certifications:
Technical college diploma (DEC) in electrotechnics technology or equivalent;
Very good knowledge of Autocad and Microsoft suite;
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics;
Good communication skills (bilingual French-English is an asset);
Demonstrated work ethic, energetic and positive attitude;
Demonstrated team work approach without being closely supervised;
Ability to work on multiple projects at a time in a constant evolutive environment;
Constant willing to seek or improve technical knowledge.
