What is the opportunity?

The Global Equities Technology Group is seeking a Software Developer for their Market Connectivity group. You will help develop and enhance the systems that provide client and exchange connectivity. This is a fast paced business with frequently changing needs and requirements.

 

 

What will you do?

Work as part of a dynamic group; interact effectively with technical systems and business personnel.
Adapt/integrate new technologies and broaden the mandate scope as required to meet the needs of the business.
FIX Gateway Integration.
 

 

What do you need to succeed?

 

Must Have:

Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience with FIX Protocol, FIX/Exchange Gateway Specifications.
3-5 years’ experience developing and designing Java based low latency, client facing and exchange facing gateways.
Basic experience/exposure to Linux platform.
Strong communication and relationship building skills; proactive and self starter.
Experience working with business users/clients/developers to perform analysis and recommend solutions.
 

 

Nice to Have:

Experience with Cameron’s Catalyst FIX Engine API is a major plus.
C++ skills a plus (currently moving legacy C++ system over to new Java based platform).
Equities space is ideal (preferred)
