This person is responsible for providing the experience of a lifetime in all facets of their work. They are responsible for managing daily reservation requests and answering phones. They will be reporting to the assistant manager.

Our fine dining restaurants Steeps Grill & Wine Bar and Christine's are located at the top of Whistler & Blackcomb Mountains. Steeps Grill and Wine Bar is open 6 months per year, and is a food primary licensed establishment for 127 interior seating. It is open for Lunch 11am-3pm and host 4 Winemakers Aprés during the season. Christine's is open 6 months during the winter and 2 months during the summer, and is a food primary licensed establishment for 127 interior seating, open for Lunch 11am-3pm.

Responsibilities:


- Answer the telephone and respond to guest's reservation requests.
- Ability to control the flow of seating for a high volume restaurant.
- Manage online reservation system.
- Communicate with staff special requests/needs of guests.
- Ensure cleanliness of front desk area at all times.
- Promote a fair, harmonious work environment.
- Provide guest's with estimated waiting time, manage waitlists and reservations.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
- Recognize return customers and greet by name.
- Assist with preparation for catering and special events.
- To continually strive to exceed our Guest's expectations
- Assist with coat check

Qualifications:


- 2-4 years high volume Bar/Restaurant Managerial experience
