What is the opportunity?
As an Intermediate Developer (Technical System Analyst), You will work on the development and integration of our front office trading and reporting system. This individual will partner across CM IT and business groups to analyze and map business system issues and processes and document solutions that satisfy stakeholder requirements, all in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
What will you do?
Collaborate with different business/user groups and technology teams.
Develop code that is easy to test and maintain.
Develop unit tests and work with team to ensure all software is tested comprehensively.
Communicate effectively with teammates and business stakeholders.
Write technical documentation with clarity.
Take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
What do you need to succeed?
(3-5 years) Experience in server side development (non GUI/front-end) using Java, J2EE technologies (any C++ programming exp. would be ideal)
(3-5 years) Extensive knowledge of SQL and Oracle database.
(3-5 years) Previous experience with XML and Enterprise Messaging Services (MQ, Solace)
(3-5 years) Previous experience with Unix Shell Scripting.
(3-5 years) Experience using and working with J2EE design patterns.
Experience with Jasper reporting tool.
Experience with Tidal scheduling tool.
Finance or capital markets operations environment and knowledge of financial instruments and trading systems is a strong plus
Apex knowledge preferred.
