Janssen Inc. is looking to hire a Manager, Field Planning, who will contribute to the strategic thinking and lead the operations in SHAPING and DELIVERING the Business Planning process.
Aligned with a key long term organizational priority of competitive differentiation through providing our customers with the Janssen Experience, this role will support the Director, Field Planning to deliver a streamlined and consistent business planning process for the organization.
Specific areas of accountability will include:
Develop, maintain and improve assets and methodologies for creating the Field Plan and executing
Develop and maintain Field Planning and Call Planning. Lead the adaptation to each Business Unit. Lead the kick off and deployment each year.
Lead the presentation of various aspects of the field planning process with relevant Leadership Teams throughout the planning cycle
Collaborate closely within the CEE organization and all Business Units to co-create, roll-out, adapt and sustain the processes.
Maintain and adapt Targeting Standards for all field facing teams. Collaborate with the Field Leaders to set Customer Engagement objectives adapted to each business.
Implement and adapt the leverage of proprietary data to enrich Customer Engagement for each Business Unit

This is a unique opportunity for advanced business leadership development which will challenge the individual to deliver with credibility through strong communication and influencing skills in a highly matrix environment.
University degree (science or business related) is required with an MBA as an asset)
8+ years pharmaceutical/marketing/healthcare industry experience is required.
Demonstrated cycle of success as a business manager showcasing strong business acumen and deep expertise in leading business planning
Demonstrated success in having managed brands in different stages of its lifecycle
Demonstrated critical thinking through challenging business situations and opportunities
Demonstrated success and deep understanding of overall business assessment and planning
Demonstrated ability in leading internal collaboration of teams / stakeholders across the enterprise, leveraging broad range of cross functional skills and perspectives to create alignment
Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo, and lead and adapt to change, creating positive change
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) including the ability to understand and present complex data clearly and concisely.
Highly developed computer skills
Ability to manage multiple demands within tight timelines
English-French bilingualism an asset
Willingness and ability to travel (10% travel – nationally and internationally)
