The successful candidate will work as senior consultant in key project, will assist and support the delivery teams as well as working in conjunction with our Project Management Office.

What we re looking for:

Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will be responsible for designing tailor-made LAN/WiFi solutions that meet the needs of large business customers and for monitoring the integration with the operations teams. As part of the Solution Delivery team, this position represents an excellent challenge from a technological point of view and is a key factor in the success of the Professional Services portfolio.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

- Takes responsibility for the collection of the customer's business needs as well as the analysis of technological solutions.
- As needed, participates in preparation of proposals
- Ensures the design of telecommunications solutions (LAN/WiFi)
- Prepares the low-level design documents, technical specifications and supporting documents required to carry out the activities for the integration of the chosen solution.
- Prepares testing plans for new solutions introduction, when required. Conducts technical trials and documents the results.
- Coordinates technical activities required to implement the solution chosen by the customer. Does follow-ups to ensure the specification conditions are respected.
- Proposes technological upgrades, improvements or changes to keep the network infrastructure usable and efficient.
- Prepares and writes technical reports as part of study projects and mandates.
- Keeps abreast of technological developments in the networking field.

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering with a specialization in telecommunications, IT or equivalent; or equivalent experience
- At least two (2) years' experience in the telecommunications field
- Knowledge of local area (LAN) and wireless technology (WiFi)
- CCNA certification (asset)
- Bilingualism (English and French)
- Able to work as part of a team
- A good communicator and able to write technical reports
- Autonomous


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
