FCA Canada is currently seeking Operations Specialists to join our Quality team at FCA’s Quality Engineering Centre in Windsor, Ontario. The Operation Specialist is responsible to facilitate and lead quality teams to assist with identification and corrective actions of failures identified through the analysis process.

Responsibilities and qualifications of the Operation Specialist are:

Identifying new emerging field issues by analyzing warranty returned material and data to understand failure modes and effects
Managing all parts return material activities for the Quality Engineering Centre (QEC) area to ensure returned material is utilized to assist with Corporate Quality Initiatives
Managing dealership relations
Managing dealership appeal process (Bilingual)
Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in team environments
Managing day-to-day activities of assigned Unifor personnel
Possess strong communication and verbal skills
Being self-motivated and willing to challenge teams on all aspects of quality
Support inventory management
Managing UPS/Customs/Logistics – UPS Small Pack — resolve inbound / outbound issues; UPS Freight
Manage parts return support hotline
Handle approximately 50+ contacts per week – Includes reviewing UPS quantum view, DealerConnect, HPIMS, QNA to decide on appropriate action/escalation
Identify system issues / IT Help Desk / Support resolution
Fastrack support — dealer follow-up for requested returns
Track UPS lost items
Research and provide warranty administration with detailed information to each Chargeback appeal
Provide warranty administration with photos, PRAS analysis to support Chargeback
Handle scrap / Recycling / Compactor
Manage warehouse physical binning
Handle Inbound / Outbound shipping
Handle SPX HazMat — daily fastrack requests
Conduct monthly bin audits — missing bins / parts

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
Strong interest in automotive industry
Strong ability to analyze data and implement action plans
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing facility
Experienced with problem solving tools
Ability to communicate details from Executive level to plant staff level
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work shift hours as necessary
Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite software
Legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of data analytics tools (SPC, Warranty Analysis Systems, GIMS, eCIMS, PFS)
Technical and analytical problem solving skills
Claims, dealership process, policies & procedures, knowledge of DealerConnect
Fluently bilingual in English and French
