This position is within a highly skilled and fast growing RegTech (Regulatory Technology) team. This team’s mandate is: to build and support next generation of applications on platform utilizing the cloud through software-as-a-service. The ideal candidate will be working in an agile environment and will need a passion for continuous improvement. Firsthand experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science and data products will be beneficial.



- Work within a cross functional Agile team to deliver regulatory and compliance solutions for a Capital Market business line of the bank
- Build real-time streaming regulator reporting engine using complex event processing
- Convert existing silo applications into a platform of micro-services using continuous deploying Docker containers


You Have;

- A recognized degree in engineering, computer science, math or related discipline
- Advanced experience with at least one programming languages: Java/Scala/Python/Q
- Advanced knowledge with XML, XSD, JAXB, XSLT
- Advanced experience with at least one database technology: Oracle, Postgres, kdb, ElasticSearch
- Familiar with big data tools: Spark, Parquet, Dask, Kafka, Sqoop, Hive
- Experience building modern data pipelines to acquire and normalize diverse data source
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
- Passionate about adapting new technologies to accelerate business value delivery
- Ability to work in a demanding environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
