What you will be doing:

- Overall mandate of the role is to manage wireless service revenue development by defining the overall pricing strategy for the wireless business. Some core competencies that will be key to success in this role:
- - An ability to navigate difficult trade-offs (acquisition, churn, ARPU, brand mix, etc.)
- - Balancing competing priorities
- - Mobilizing team members towards a common objective (from specialist/co-ordinator level up to senior executive level)
- - Storytelling, especially storytelling through data

Responsibilities of the team include:

- - Determine wireless pricing strategies across all 3 wireless brands (Rogers, Fido and Chatr)
- - Manage trade-offs between volume and rate on subscriber additions and losses
- - Manage trade-offs between incremental growth vs. displacement/reprice risk
- - Develop analytical frameworks to facilitate decision-making as well as measure performance of various pricing initiatives
- - Establish and maintain policies relating to price plan changes and discounts
- - Drive long-term strategic initiatives while also planning out shorter-term tactics (promotions, etc.) and managing day-to-day competitive issues
- - Collaborate with all relevant Go to Market functions to effectively implement pricing initiatives and business improvement tactics
