Customer focused role responsible for co-development of Customer Specific Promotions to support the National Calendar, support to customer teams on Joint Business Planning and account planning as well as supporting development and project management of critical trade show executions. This role will lead development of all sales communications and ensure timely communication to sales in terms of national calendar programming.
Leading deployment of the category strategy for independent Pet Specialty stores and key accounts customers as well as identifying channel specific strategies where applicable. (Farm & Feed vs. SPT)
Creating Category Leadership:
Deployment and On-going Coaching on Category Story across both Royal Canin and Eukanuba to enable profitable growth for the science category.
Execute Store Lab Activities and translate this data into actionable insights to foster category growth for Science Category.
Identify and understand the needs of internal and external customers.
Analyse data to build compelling stories that deliver mutual category growth determined by revenue and profit working with key account teams.
Develop and Understand competitive insights to help shape a full understanding of category dynamics.
Ownership over National Conversion Calendar – Development, Rollout and Communication
Ownership over data aggregation services ensuring sales dashboards are updated
Drive assessment of promotional effectiveness by implementing and leading a “post-gaming” culture to future proof activity moving forward.
Internal Co-ordinator for Customer Specific Promotions acting as project manager between Key Accounts and Portfolio Managers
Co-ordinate new item set up – Supporting Key Account Teams via completion of appropriate forms and development of distributor communications.
In-direct management of budget via JBP and Trade Shows
Rollout and involvement in pricing strategy – With Consult responsibility on Regular Selling Price and Accountability on Promotional Selling Price.
Drive a One-Demand Culture:
Coordination and organization of Joint Business Planning Meetings as required.
