Job Purpose:

This role plays two critical functions at the Guelph Facility for Royal Canin – Associate Training and General Administration.

This individual will provide the skills and knowledge by designing, developing, administering and facilitating operational training for non-exempt production associates to improve their technical skills and performance.

As well, the role ensures that the factory runs smoothly and handles administrative tasks such as reporting, PO conversion, associate recognition, event planning, community services, communication, and partnering with P&O, Operations, Q&FS, EH&S, Flow, and S&F to provide support for administrative and coordinator duties. 

Key Responsibilities:

ASSOCIATE TRAINING

Understanding of knowledge/skills/performance-based programs along with proven leadership skills.
The ability to deliver training utilizing adult learning techniques to production associates and manage / maintain Site training system – Alchemy.
Assist in the determination of training priorities and interventions and identify the necessary resources to support training.
Design, develop, implement and evaluate training programs that result in improving productivity using standard work while consistently maintaining high product quality.
Skills Matrix Support- update, identify skills gaps, plan and deliver training to reduce the skills gaps leveraging current ways of working (FMOS, MRF, MSE).  Coordinate with Managers and Leads to determine that associate’s skill level is adequate for performing there job task. 
Identify and utilize the training aids (equipment, mock-ups etc.) for Manufacturing.
Coordinate and assist in the updating
