What You'll Do
You will be part of a team responsible for BroadSoft back office systems. The main focus is to assist in automating Broadsoft ticketing system and Intranet (Atlassian’s JIRA and Confluence). The job consists in automating and administrating the spaces, projects, scripts and workflows at Cisco.
Who You'll Work With
You’re supporting existing code base and work with other organizations to identify and discuss functional requirements.
Who You Are
You have experience with code automation and change requests (JIRA) and some administrating tasks in JIRA and Confluence (~30% of the time). You have knowledge of interpreting requirements into product design and implementing designs in code and unit Testing the implemented code.
You’re able to document design and other meaningful information and aggressively address any issues found after project delivery. You deliver world class User Experience in all User Interfaces and have a hands-on approach to implementation and problem resolution.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
Collegial or University degree
Practical experience with JAVA or object-oriented language
Practical experience with object-oriented analysis and design is an asset
Experience with JIRA and Confluence as an Administrator is a strong asset
Experience in writing Atlassian scripts or plugins is ideal.
Practical experience developing backend systems and frontend applications is an asset
Experience with SQL and relational databases is an asset
Technology experience: JAVA, Tomcat, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, jQuery, CSS is an asset
Practical experience with administrating a Linux machine is an asset
Proficient in an Agile environment
Practical experience in a TDD environment is an asset
Excellent written and documentation skills.
