Position overview 
As a Software Engineer, Tools and Infrastructure, your main objective will be to help Shotgun Engineers working on product teams to deliver high quality software at a very high pace, with the smallest impact possible on clients. You will be doing so by having the opportunity to work with the latest Cloud Technologies and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) solutions. 
Engineers working for the Tools and Infrastructure team are taking pride at helping the other teams developing resilient and scalable services. They are also acting as evangelist in term of development best practices, secure development lifecycle and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). They are curious, versatile and like to display a lot of leadership. 


Responsibilities


- Architect, design and develop infrastructure services and tools that will allow Shotgun to deliver value faster to customers. 

- Identify bottleneck in the "code to deploy” processes and take actions to optimize these processes. 

- Own, improve and support the Shotgun CI/CD pipelines. 

- Be an evangelist of development best practices, secure development lifecycle and CI/CD.  

Minimum qualifications
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical experience 

- Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting languages like Ruby, Python, Bash, etc. 

- Experience in at least one of the following: test automation, refactoring code, test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, deployment of cloud services, DevOps methodologies, build infrastructure, Docker 

- Experience with Cloud Computing providers, Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferred.
