Morning Traffic Reporter
As Morning Traffic Reporter, reporting to the Director of News and Programming at 570 NEWS, your role within Rogers will be writing, editing, producing and broadcasting the most up to date traffic information for 570 NEWS, CHYM 96.7 and Country 106.7 in Kitchener. Our goal is to provide immediate, accurate and credible information for our listeners. The successful candidate will share our passion to be first, fast and factual.
o Edit, write, produce and broadcast the most up to date traffic reports.
o Take part in live morning show discussions, when requested.
o Generate interesting topics for discussion on-air.
o Knowledge of technical requirements for live broadcasting.
o Two years of broadcasting experience
o Extensive knowledge of traffic in Kitchener and surrounding area.
o Excellent editing, writing and production skills
o Strong skills as a 'live' performer.
o Demonstrated attributes as a team player
o Post-secondary degree
o Experience as a traffic reporter.
Schedule: Full time
Length of Contract: No Selection
Work Location: 230 - 1B The Boardwalk (102), Kitchener, ON
Travel Requirements: Up to 10%
