Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience managing security operations in a corporate environment.
Ability to speak and write in English and German fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience and awareness of corporate security within the EMEA region.
Experience conducting investigations, including criminal, human resources, and safety incidents.
Experience with and demonstrated knowledge of security technologies, including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems, Security Operations Centers.
Experience working around active construction sites and providing counter measures to minimize risks.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In this role, you'll coordinate and assist the Regional Security Manager on physical security and safety matters. Security and safety includes, risk/threat assessments, event security, security response and services, security control systems, investigations, executive protection, and safety management.

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with and offer guidance/consultation to Facility and Operations Management teams and provide security and risk advice and guidance to Site Leadership.
Lead efforts to inform protocols and practices to assess and mitigate potential risks to Google. Coordinate with security counterparts to make risk-based recommendations about posture and resource allocation.
Be responsible for security campus operations in support of the EMEA GSRS team.
Assist with implementing performance of corporate safety and security standards, policies and practices, daily operations of security and safety vendors providing services, life-safety systems, training, drills, ergonomics, investigations and risk assessment.
Liaise with Emergency Services such as Law Enforcement, as they relate to daily operations.
Manage our Google Security Vendors to respond to emergencies, support planned and unplanned operations, and support events and special activities as needed.
