Who You Will Work With
Cisco seeks a Systems Engineer for our Collaboration Go-to-Market team to develop and lead adoption of Collaboration solutions. You are self-motivated and bring the industry, business, and technical skills necessary to work effectively with internal Cisco peers and external partner executives.
Collaboration is a cornerstone of Cisco’s product and solution portfolio. As a Systems Engineer, you have expertise with our Collab portfolio. Knowledge of competitive products is also recommended for this position. You will bring cross-architectural knowledge of solutions as it pertains to Collaboration.
You will provide a consultative approach to understanding customer/partner technical requirements within the Collab Architecture including advanced knowledge of the competitive landscape.
Who You Are
You have a deep understanding of many of these key responsibilities and competencies:
You are able to define the requirements for technical enablement in regards to Cisco Collaboration solutions including lab, demo, curriculum and tools to drive partner competency and accelerate sales.
Your exposure to Collab Solutions selling to Enterprise and Corporate Line-of-Business as well as to traditional IT buying centres.
You can articulate the unrivalled value of our solutions by itself or within an integrated multi-architectural solution.
You use customer and industry knowledge to influence Business Units to create solutions that maximize sales potential.
You maintain strong working relationships with the Channel and Partner Sales Team and Engineers in addition to team members, customers and partners in any location and across functional Business Units.
You will ensure the architectural impact and capabilities of our Collab solutions are understood and valued.
You develop your peer team's knowledge of our Collab selling concepts.
You professionally present to Cisco's corporate groups, channels, and customer management.
Lead and actively participate in partner enablement activities such as pre-release training, Partner VT, and other partner event forums.
You will develop and execute strategies to drive Collab Solution enablement to partners worldwide.
Additional required knowledge/skills:
You will experience driving projects and programs, measuring performance and trends, and communicating cross-functionally.
Your ability to promote new and innovative ways to address business challenges and problems.
You regularly review unique and effective solutions, technology and product offerings.
You consistently understand and are conversant about the industry, company, competitors, technologies, solutions, product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
You have excellent written and verbal communication, listening, adaptability and negotiation skills.
Typically requires an Engineering/Computer Science degree.
Your Cisco and/or 3rd Party certifications are a plus: CCIE-Collaboration, CCNA/CCNP-Collaboration
Travel: Could include occasional overseas
