In the context of our HR Transformation, we are strengthening our Total Rewards function and we are creating regional Centers of Competence (CoC) which will deliver a high quality portfolio of Total Rewards services. We are looking for a Compensation Specialist for the CoC for Europe in Milan, Italy.
Reporting to the regional Compensation Manager, you will be providing operational support for delivery of Compensation programs and processes across multiple countries supported by a Regional Total Rewards CoC.
A Day in the Life of a Compensation Specialist
Support Markets and work in collaboration with the CoS in implementing the annual compensation processes
Coordinate job matching and salary submission with external survey providers and develop resulting pay structures for validation by NiM HR and Market Compensation Committees
Prepare reports for the Strategic KPIs and Statistics related to Total Compensation for the Business
Conduct sound analysis of positions and job families needing evaluation, effectively applying the Job Evaluation Methodology of the Group, and ensure credible explanations for grading decisions to ensure acceptance by key stakeholders
Ensure full compliance in the compensation area, including meeting internal controls as well as external tax, social security and labor laws
What will make you successful
University Degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources either in a large corporation with progressive people practices and/or a consulting company
Experience with KPIs (Creation and use of metrics)
Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
Experience of SAP HR (preferably payroll systems as well)
Good project management skills and change capabilities
