In the Nestlé Suisse Logistics Department we ensure the delivery of outstanding distribution services. In order to contribute to our continuous success, we are looking for a highly competent Logistics Manager based in Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of physical customer order fulfillment and cost achievement on behalf of the Businesses in Switzerland through the management of 3rd party warehousing and distribution operations.
Reporting directly to the Head of Logistics, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of outstanding service at minimum "cost to serve"

What will be your key responsibilities? 

Correctly setting and monitoring achievement of the targets for service and cost KPIs.
Ensuring suitable Warehousing, transport and distribution options  are defined for all Nestlé businesses under the responsibility of Nestlé Suisse.
Managing projects with various internal and external stakeholders to optimize Nestlé Suisse transportation, distribution or warehousing set-up (from factories to customers)
Having a structured approach towards continuous improvement with 3PL
Monitoring and managing Safety, Health and Environment, Quality and CARE regulations and Best Practices
Solving adequately any occurring logistics issues
Ensuring proper management of labor resources in the distribution.
Ensuring that legal obligations are met or exceeded
 What is required? 
5+ years relevant and successful operational experience in a leadership role in a business focused environment including:
Warehouse Management, Transportation experience or any other relevant Senior Supply Chain leadership role.
Relevant operational experience at market/ business level, in the following areas is beneficial:
Customer Service
Demand & Supply Planning
Sales
Business Planning, budget control, cost management
Technical & Production
Purchasing Experience in the management of projects including Distribution Network Redesign High Performance Logistics Customer Logistics is an asset
English and German Fluent mandatory , French is a plus
