Within the Solution Integration & Services (SIS) organization we provide innovative automation and Point of Care solutions, supporting Diagnostic Laboratories and Hospitals to optimize their workflow/intra-logistic processes. This has a direct outcome in improving testing efficiency, the service offered to clinicians and providing patient care. With the most complete portfolio in the market, we offer the ideal customized solution for every lab and hospital setting.
Within the Project Management department in SIS, we are looking for an experienced Project Leader for the Hospital Point of Care module within the area of Point of Care Software.
You have the opportunity to join this multinational initiative and team. In this role you will collaborate closely with the department of engineering (R&D), Point of Care business, other business areas (e.g. Centralized Point of Care Solutions & Roche Molecular Solutions), Quality & Regulatory as well as your program leader. This is an excellent opportunity to lead in a complex international matrix organization by successfully applying your project leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
The advertised position offers:
You like the challenge of running your own small business orchestrating up to 50 people (including external partners).
You will be part of a PL team (20 team members), with the possibility to exchange, learn and profit from each other's experience.
You assume overall accountability for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control and completion of the development of our new products.
You ensure compliance with the project delivery dates in terms of scope, quality and budget
With the newly introduced capability management, our development process will be adapted to a more agile approach. You can actively support this change.
You enjoy collaborating with Product Management and your interdisciplinary team in order to find the best-fit approach for your project.

To be successful in this role (you have to):
Completed Master degree in engineering, IT or comparable field of study
Project management certification (e.g. IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2) is an advantage
Proven experience working with Engineering Organization.
Proven experience working in a highly regulated industry (In vitro Diagnostics – IVD is a plus) within an international matrix environment.
Proven track record of delivering one or several full life-cycle product development projects
Flexibility to travel within Europe (20%)
Excellent command of English
