We are looking for a Lawer to asume the position of Patent Counsel for the Patent Department.


Mission

Collaborating with the Regional Patent Counsel in Latin America on freedom to operate assessments for generic pharmaceutical products, including assisting with the clearance of products from third party patents, identifying and resolving highly complex patent issues, and assisting in the drafting and negotiation of patent terms in agreements.  


Responsibilities

1. Freedom to operate assessment


2. Advise on, draft, and negotiate in licenses


3. Filing and drafting of third party oppositions


4. Counseling clients on patent matters in multiple jurisdictions


5. The candidate should be able to anticipate, identify, and manage risk effectively to resolve a variety of complex issues relating to patents, patent licensing, pharmaceutical development, regulatory matters and supply considerations
