Description

We are looking for a Capex Commodity Manager Plastic Equipments in Purchasing Function for our Headquarter.

The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

– Lead of international team of Commodity Specialists cross Magneti Marelli Business Lines (BLs), for the purchase of Plastic Capex Machineries & MRO

– Gather the Capex Purchasing budget, in close cooperation with BLs Purchasing Capex Leaders and BLs Manufacturing Engineering

– Define and deploy Purchasing Strategy with team of Commodity Specialists and BLs Purchasing Capex

– Maintain and diffuse Supplier Panel in the Capex Plastic Commodity, while responsible to manage the activities for market scouting with new Suppliers/Technology evaluation and qualification

– Participation in offer analysis and negotiation of commercial conditions for Global and Regional sourcing

– Consolidate monthly results and update action plan of Commodity Specialists and BL Capex Buyers vs. Purchasing KPIs for Executive Management Review

– Submit to sourcing committee for RS approval of Global and Regional sourcing according to defined APV threshold

– Maintain top management relations with Strategic Suppliers and conclusion of GFA contracts for Automotive Lighting Business Line & Magneti Marelli Group Worldwide

 

REQUIREMENTS:

– Degree in engineering and/or business studies with technical skills in mechanical or plastic machineries

– At least three years previous experience in Purchasing as Capex Commodity or Regional Manager, Senior Projects Purchasing Manager or Manufacturing Engineering leading role

– Knowledge of cost drivers of plastic injection moulding machines & periphery, plastic parts welding, and metallization & coatings machineries

– Fluent English is a must, German and Italian would be an advantage

– Flexibility and willingness to travel (30%)

– Very good analytical and negotiation skills

– Customer oriented mind-set

– Strong leadership and ability to work with international teams
