YOUR TASKS 

Monitor and analyse airline operational readiness ahead of operation, take action to resolve potential gaps versus committed plan and implement resolution
Continuous operational scanning / awareness of events that could affect execution of plan
Take decisive actions and decisions during network disruptions based on collaborative suggestions from Maintenance, CSD and Dispatch inputs
Additional duties and responsibilities of Flight Dispatch and support of CSD are part of the job / or may be assigned by the Flight Operations Control Manager as required
Pro-actively keep network and maintenance customers informed about possible service concerns and proposed course of action to mitigate
Review of operation as executed, discuss with team, identify areas for improvement, agree with stakeholders (Management, Network Management) and implement
Participate and contribute to network planning and review meetings
YOUR PROFILE

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Airline operational role and/or DHL Express network operations
"Allgemeine Hochschulreife” or equivalent High School degree  Solid airline / network background, including knowledge CSD, Flight Dispatch & maintenance topics
Fluent spoken and written English skills, German skills would be an advantage
Willingness of shift work in a 24/7 environment
Strong Communication skills / positive mindset / willingness to engage in continuous improvement initiatives
Knowledge of flight operations procedures and organizational requirements for airworthiness and airline operations
Knowledge of legislative and regulatory framework and other statutory requirements (EASA Demonstrated analytical, consultative and decision making skills
Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Influence and Negotiation, Effective Communication
