Objectives and Scope of Position

Enable the affiliate Medical Customer Engagement network (MSL and Medical Information) to meet customer information needs

1. Resolve escalated medical information enquiries in a timely fashion utilizing highly advanced knowledge end expert networks

2. Ensure the quality and scientific accuracy of medical information content

Summary of Main Responsibilities

1. Resolve escalated medical information inquiries for assigned TA/products in a timely fashion utilizing highly advanced knowledge end expert networks

- Collaborate with internal and external partners (e.g. pharmatechnical, regulatory safety, clinical trials teams) with regards to knowledge sources to answer queries
- Keep abreast of latest developments within assigned TA/products
- Participate in Medical Information professional societies and attend medical congresses; monitor industry standards and best practices 2. Ensure the quality and scientific accuracy of medical information content for assigned TA/products

- Understand current customers’ information needs by monitoring incoming enquiries and anticipate future needs
- Utilize insights to identify potential medical information content gaps and use adequate means to fill them in a timely fashion
- Ensure the quality and scientific accuracy of medical information content and that it is following established content guidelines
- Ensure that the needs of our customers are being met, not only with regards to the accuracy of information provided but also the format, style and language used
- Actively monitor feedback from both external and internal customers Cross functional collaboration

- Collaborate closely with key internal and/or external partners, including other GMI colleagues, functional experts, PDMA Customer Strategy functions dedicated to customer engagement and content curation and dissemination Compliance

- Is responsible for acting in line with legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice (such as Roche Code of Conduct and any other Roche directives and guidelines) and including all local country policies related to HCP engagement
- Completes all required training modules as a priority
- High ethical standards, ability to demonstrate Roche Values and Leadership Commitments Professional and Technical Requirements:

- Advanced clinical, life sciences, or health care degree (e.g. PharmD, RPh, PhD, MD) Experience, Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

- Minimum of 4-5 years professional experience within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
- Previous experience in Medical Information Experience in the US and Global markets
- Experience in related therapeutic area
- Experience of liaising with other internal departments, e.g. Regulatory, Drug Safety
- Experience in the principles and techniques of data search, analysis,
- interpretation, and assessing clinical relevance
- Relevant scientific knowledge
- Working knowledge of legal, regulatory and clinical/medical affairs
- Demonstrated understanding of how the Medical Information function is executed at the global and affiliate level
- Strong customer orientation/focus
- Strong collaboration and negotiation/influencing skills and ability to effectively work across multidisciplinary groups
- Proficiency in medical writing with solid medical writing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and ability to prepare and deliver clear and impactful presentations
- Ability to work effectively across multiple cultures and countries
- Fluency in an additional language is a plus
- Ability to travel (15-20%) #LI-PDKM2
