Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) at the Geospatial Solutions and Infrastructures Department
(35 hours/week, flexi-time).
Duration: 3-6 months
Afterwards there is the possibility for writing a final thesis, upon agreement with the department.
As an intern you will acquire an in-depth insight into the Geospatial Solutions and Infrastructures Department which is responsible for all questions concerning the use and processing of geographic information. This includes the design, development and maintenance of own components as well as the definition of workflows and infrastructures in the defence sector, border security and disaster control. The solutions include commercial products and services as well as own developments.
Tasks & accountabilities
Creation and Extension of a GIS application/component by using ArcGIS SDKs and integration of this application in an existing C2 system
- Creation of a test application
- add map handling functionality for 2D and 3D
- Integration of own data layer in ArcGIS Runtime (CMRG/KMRG map data)
- Integration of functionality to handle military symbology
- Integration of real-time tracking

- Enrolled student within Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Geoinformatics or similar field of study
- You have geospatial knowledge (data, formats, OGC, ArcGIS)
- You are used to Web technology
- English: fluent
- German: good knowledge
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
