Medical Device Product Surveillance Coordinator (f/m)-180880

Our European Product Surveillance team is looking for a hands-on and well-organized person with a close attention to details and quality.
In this role, you will evaluate and respond to customer complaints related to our medical device products. You are passionate about ensuring that Gore responds appropriately to potential issues involving state-of-the art implantable medical devices. Main responsibilities include the development of a solid working knowledge of national and international regulations and thorough understanding of internal standard operating systems and procedures. On a daily basis, you will interact closely with European and US colleagues of different functions as well as clinical staff in hospitals. Maintaining reporting guidelines, designing control activity and delivering trainings enhance the diversity and responsibility of this position.
Some years of work experience in the medical-device industry (i. e. as medical technician/engineer, technical assistance, clinical research associate/monitor, nurse, etc.) or a Bachelor degree in a related scientific field.
Good understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
A comprehensive knowledge of the European and other international regulations applicable to medical devices.
Strong organization and writing skills as well as direct communication style.
Team-player with the ability to work independently in a diverse team across regions and functions, with a passion for cross-cultural cooperation.
Dedication to details, governmental regulations and strict timelines.
Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/projects and ability to travel occasionally, both domestic and international (20%).
Fluent German and English (working language) are required; an additional language is an asset.
