Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working with public cloud solutions across Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) markets.
Experience working as a Partner or Channel Manager, with a focus on building scalable partner ecosystems.
Ability to speak and write in English and German fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA degree.
Experience delivering Go-to-Market strategies and results.
Experience in working with the Cloud ecosystem and knowledge of System Integrators (SIs)/Service Providers (SPs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
Experience building relationships with regional Cloud partners.
Developed written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting to various audiences.
Effective interpersonal, partner development and management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile, and collaborative. On this team, you will drive Google Cloud business relationships by analyzing partner business performance, identifying methods of increasing partner and Google returns, pitching ideas to and identifying opportunities within partners, and coordinating across Google teams to deliver.
As a Partner Development Manager (PDM), you will manage the recruitment, business growth, and creation of new practice areas and offerings for Google’s partners. You'll focus on growing the practices of partners who specialize in the Google Cloud business.
You'll create and manage relationships with existing and new partners, to offer strategic advice, thought leadership and day management. You will develop close relationships with Sales teams in order to grow the relevance and impact of your assigned partners.

Manage partner performance and map partner priorities with business goals and strategies to work towards strategic objectives. Manage quarterly business reviews with key service partners.
Communicate and drive the partner value propositions to the Partner Sales Manager (PSM) and/or Sales teams, and provide support when needed.
Work closely with partners to grow their Google practice and product portfolio through the joint development of solutions and services. Develop engaging presentations on Google’s Cloud Platform technologies for partners to improve business processes.
Shape Google’s approach to partnership strategy, advocate this strategy at industry events and support the regional engagement with strategic global and regional partners.
