Job Summary/Basic Function


Performs routine laboratory procedures according to standardized protocols and reports results to supervisor. Initially, will perform activities with direct guidance from a supervisor but will evolve to work more independently. Responsibilities include media preparation for the laboratory and preforming experiments under the supervision of a senior scientist. Experiments will involve a combination of yeast molecular genetics approaches and scoring imaging assays for a senior scientist.
