What you’ll be doing...
Senior Expert Cyber Security Analyst
You will be working at the customer site as consultant.
Your tasks:
Perform detailed analysis of internal security logs, technical configurations and other information as well as external open source intelligence.
Analyze vulnerability reports provided by MSSPs and manage the remediation process in collaboration with internal or third party service providers.
Develop vulnerability scanning schedules and evaluate the results.
Prepare the Cyber Security situation report (critical vulnerabilities, numbers of incidents, etc.) including a risk estimation for customer.
Assess the quality of services provided by MSSP on a daily basis via SLA and engage in improvement initiatives with them.
Ensure that available information from the ITSOC and other sources are used optimally to detect and respond to threats, vulnerabilities and security incidents.
Ensure that the relevant stakeholders receive all necessary information.
Ensure that defined analysis processes are applied and continuously improved. This includes the performance measurement and continuous improvement of the IT-SOC collaboration.
Ensure that vulnerability management SLAs are met.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in Cyber Security analysis.
Even better if you have:
A degree in information technology or similar.
Five or more years of experience in Cyber Security analysis.
Proven knowledge of international standards as well as additional qualification CISSP; CSSE; ISO 27035; Threat Management; OSINT (Open Source Intelligence); CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker); ECSA (EC-Council Certified Security Analyst) or equivalent.
Demonstrated strong problem solving skills.
Expert skills in operational Cyber Security and Crisis Management.
Relevant professional experience regarding security of IT infrastructure.
Up-to-date threat, vulnerability, security event analysis expertise.
Other expert qualification as required by the area of deep expertise (e.g. ITIL, or specific technologies like MDM, IPS/IDS, network protocols, etc.).
Business level proficiency in both German and English with the ability to negotiate in both languages.
