We are hiring a Customer Lead Engineer to provide senior level network operations support. Being part of a wider team you are responsible for a client’s network solution providing the next level of technical escalation covering incident and change management. You will act as the NOC point of contact for internal as well as for external customers. In this central position you will focus on continuous service improvement, guiding the team and providing technical as well as process related trainings.
With your first assignment you will be joining a team managing a network solution for a European market leader in luxury fashion.
We are seeking somebody who excels in team work and communication. While it goes without saying that you should bring the in depth technical skills we also need somebody who is good in driving continuous improvement and negotiating processes. Become the operational in-depth technical expert for a complex and bespoke managed network solution.
Technical escalation support for 1st and 2nd level teams
Troubleshoot, classify and correlate network incidents / problems on tier 2 to 3 level
Join conference calls to assist customer change or testing activity
Writing RCA and other reports and assisting the Service Manager
Being the trusted operations partner for the customer and the Project Management Office
Attendance of service review and project meetings when required
Ongoing Management Take Over (MTO) and Transformation support
KPI focus through effective problem management and diligent quality checks
Provide technical and service related training to Tier 1 and 2 engineers
Owner of customer specific documentation required within our team incl. internal training documents
Identify service improvement opportunities and drive those forward with relevant stakeholders
Review of Problem/Chronic issues
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree and severalyears of relevant work experience.
Experience in implementing or operating IP networks.
Knowledge of routing, switching and wireless technologies.
Fluency in English – both verbal and written.
Even better if you have:
A degree.
Cisco Certified Network Professional or equivalent experience.
Relevant experience in network operations to a senior level.
Good understanding of security technologies.
ITIL certification.
Basic UNIX skills.
Team player with excellent communications skills and structured work approach.
