Our growing enterprise is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our global HR Infrastructure team. In this challenging role you will play a key part in the execution of end-to-end global payroll operations, while ensuring our multiple payrolls are processed financially accurately and on time, in accordance with internal policies and external government regulations.
As a Senior Payroll Specialist you will collect and audit full-cycle payroll related data sources for use in payroll generation for Germany and other European countries. It will also be your responsibility to review and reconcile payroll data from employee time to vendor imports and/or interfaces, including to resolve payroll compliance and data errors (such as direct deposit returns, time collisions, and faulty record keeping). Based on your sound functional knowledge and your sense of ownership, you will establish and monitor payroll controls that ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and also understand and apply taxable wage impact of earnings, deductions and taxable events. We seek your input on payroll calculation methodologies, external audit preparation & response and on the continuous improvement of our work processes.
Bachelor degree or equivalent training (e.g. accountant) with significant years related experience, preferably with in-house payroll processing systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of payroll administration with a solid and current understanding of rules, regulations, policies and practices.
Ability to perform multifaceted projects with having fun working in a dynamic, multinational environment.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Proficient use of relevant systems and tools such as PeopleSoft, ADP Streamline or other COS is preferred but not required.
Exceptional detail-oriented, organization and time management skills.
Fluency in English and German.#LI-BD1
