To help us achieve this goal, we are looking for an UI Programmer (f/m/d) who implements user-interfaces for the Avatar Project on PC and Console in C++ using the Snowdrop™ Engine. Primary focus is working with Artist and Designers to create the best UI with an intuitive UX for the Avatar Project.
 
This position will be located at Ubisoft Blue Byte, Düsseldorf (Germany).
JOB DESCRIPTION

Your tasks: 
Implement UI and UX in a 3D game for PC and Console.
Support Artists by adding or extending Engine functionality.
Collaboration with teams to create the best possible player experience.
Design and implementation of UI components in C++.
Improve and extend existing game UI and UX framework.
Design and implementation of game specific UI logic.
Improving UI tools used by team members.
QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
5+ years of development experience.
Master or Bachelor’s in computer science or engineering.
Experience in development with Console SDKs (PS4 and Xbox)
Strong programming skills in C++.
Good debugging and problem solving skills.
Solid understanding of UX/UI development principles.
Ability to work efficiently with a large, existing code base.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Comfortable planning tasks and dependencies.
