The successful candidate will be based in Barcelona and be responsible for supporting the relationship development and marketing efforts of a senior BRM member, as well as building their own relationships as the candidate progresses in the role. This position will suit someone who is keen to develop a career in a business development role with front line relationship management. The role has a high component of client interaction with issuers and bankers/debt market professionals.
Main responsibilities associated to the role:
-Support the development of a portfolio of contacts.
-Research and develop business development strategies.
-Research and preparation of business development materials.
-Interaction with internal and external parties.
-Attend external marketing meetings.
-Represent the company at internal and external industry events and conferences.
-Prepare reports for internal and external matters. Keep the data base and the CRM systems updated.
-Analyze capital markets for detecting business opportunities.

-Financial industry experience, ideally gained through exposure to debt capital markets, banking, corporate finance, or credit analysis.
-Degree educated (a finance or business related subject would be an advantage).
-Strong knowledge of preparing marketing/business development materials using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint showing excellent attention to detail.
-Demonstrable knowledge of research, analysis and interpretation of large data sets. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
-Experience with CRM systems.
-Knowledge of the Spanish Corporate market would be highly appreciated.
-Strong communication and presentation skills, verbal & written in both Spanish and English at least are required.
-Ability to work independently within a strategic framework, with supervision and guidance from senior team members, and demonstrating the flexibility to meet tight deadlines.
-Team oriented, with the ability to confidently establish relationships internally and externally within an international business environment.
-Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
