Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Qualified attorney, with experience in private practice and/or an in-house team
Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications:
Extensive experience of advising on data protection issues, including upcoming legislative changes.
Broad experience of contract, commercial and IT law
Experience in negotiating, drafting and advising clients on technology-related commercial contracts, including multi-jurisdictional transactions, software licensing, cloud services and outsourcing.

As Associate Legal Counsel, you’ll negotiate and draft a variety of commercial agreements relating to Google Cloud Platform, Apps and other Enterprise products. You’ll work closely with business clients and also Legal colleagues in Google offices throughout EMEA. A deep understanding of Google's business and the ability to think quickly and practically are essential attributes for this job.

Responsibilities
Negotiate a range of commercial agreements with customers and partners throughout EMEA and maintain templates that comply with company policies and local law.
Advise on legal issues and risks, complex agreement structures and company policies.
Develop expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Apps and other Enterprise products and build strong relationships with business clients in our various EMEA offices.
Advise senior management, business clients on various aspects of Spanish law, in particular data protection.
