Main of the Job
The mission of the Industrialization Engineer is to industrialize the maintenance of the product in Depot Operations, auxiliary workshop and repair centers, taking into account existing standards & project constraints. He/ she deliver and validate and update the industrial data & documentation used by the maintenance production team all along the project life cycle. Component repair and overhaul activities (e.g. bogie frame and bogie components, main compressor, transmissions, traction motors, etc.)
Direct report to the CRCF Operations Responsible
Internal: Operations, Quality, Services Engineering, Sourcing and Supply Chain, Parts, and Projects.
External: Customer technical and industrial representatives, Suppliers, Laboratories and testing companies.
Develop and update repair and overhaul industrial documentation:
Maintenance Instructions, including BOM and required means & tools
Task Sequence and Work-orders
Standard Operation Sheets
Special tools and Jigs design (Solid, Autocad, CATIA, …)
Support documentation update within the ERP/SAP and Portable devices (Tablet)
Identify, follow-up and fix workshop technical issues
Process optimization support: workshops layouts, sizing, flows optimization, kitting strategy
Lean industrial and continuous improvement site involment
Apply ultimate industrial Standards and applicable Regulations
R&D and innovation on industrial processes and tooling
KPI identification and follow-up
Workshop technical interface with Internal representatives
Product engineering and 2nd Sourcing
Overhaul and repair kits identification from OEM and alternative suppliers
Jigs and tool development: specification, validation and documentation
Manage product documentation from suppliers
Support the development and qualification of alternative components from repair or overhaul kits: re-sourcing plan, product requirements specification, product manufacturing, performances validation and homologation, final documentation.
Workshop technical interface with customer, suppliers and third partners
Apply Alstom EHS, Quality and Railway Safety policy, instructions and best practices
Support the required investigations and expertises following Safety issues, Quality or Services-affecting incidents.
Collaborate in the execution of quality controls and process audits
Support product EHS, Handling and Storage requirements specification
Special Processes application
Support blue-collar technical/process training and competencies enhancement whenever required
Industrial Engineer, majored in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent Degree + Master)
Languages: English, advanced level. French, medium level
Industrialization or Process Engineering
Product Design Management tools: AutoCAD / CATIA
ERP/SAP skills valuable
Railway maintenance skills / experience valuable.
Railway equipment skills / experience valuable
