The IT Applications Manager Specialist in TMS Solutions will do:Proficiently applies IT methods, professional knowledge and standards and practices to complex tasks and situations; Coordinates work performed through internal customers/business partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments.


Optimizes and implements different business applications/ modules for different IT Clusters or multiple sites. (D&B includes Design, development, test & deploy activities + Quotations + R&M run & maintain activities at a senior level).

Develops know-how for parts of the IT function. Drives new technology initiatives form "idea" to implementation. Establishes and defines system workflow processes to meet requirements; identifies and defines necessary elements for center of excellence.

Supports, manages and develops customer relations.Supervision of activities of a team of specialists. Manages the workload for, and coaches, co-workers on IT professionals on the team.

Familiar with the opinion leaders in the technical/professional community within this domain.

Coordination activities involving multiple IT expertise, suppliers, etc. Supports supplier relations.Working with Senior leaders establishes goals and operating plans for the department and operates within budget parameters.
Implement and operate effective governance processes for all aspects of responsibilities
Evaluate and recommend IT investments corresponding to the business needs expressed, taking into account their efficiency and risk management.

Ensure a technological and legal watch on developments in the corporate sector in terms of information systems.

Lead the development plan of TMS systems in the company within the accepted budgets and in accordance with the technological changes decided by the general management.

Deliver Run & Maintain activities for Transport Management Systems and related applications, partly in-house developed and partly provided by suppliers

Manage and coordinate customers deployment and regular releases of European Solutions Products along with Cluster specific solutions.Coordinate these activities in order to deliver reliable and consistent application availability in alignment with Customer, Business and IT objectives.

Implement of continuous service improvement throughout the organization and our suppliers:

Build and develop application specialism to increase quality and scalability of our strategic applications

Develop and implement standards for all production environments to serve as quality guidelines for all current and future applications.

Serve as a partner toward other areas of the IT community to ensure that business needs are properly accommodated within overall IT priorities




Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

+10 years experience with complex IT solutions international company

Expertise in Transportation system (TMS).

International mind-set and experience to work in virtual teams.

Implementation of ITIL Processes

Industry experience in SystemsDevelopment Life Cycle methodologies
