The Textile Process Engineer will be responsible of:
Lead projects in all areas of Textile Plant (from Warping to Finishing) mainly focused on processes
technical improvement, flows optimisation, product quality improvement (Scheduling meetings,
managing time-lines and project budgets, lead trials on shop floor).
Lead trials on shop floor, request laboratory tests and analyse results.
Collaborate with purchasing department in the search for raw new materials and lead the
Work on lean - continuous improvement environment.
Define and start up new equipment and / or facilities as well as carry out the control, tracking and
improvement of existing ones
Contact suppliers of machinery, equipment or services to coordinate improvements.
Plan, execute and monitor the activities constituting the project with assigned team members
Promote activities for the operational KPI's compliance.
Leverage internal/external resources to accomplish project tasks. Ensure performance on all
Participate in brainstorming product and process solutions around identified topics.
Communicate project status with team, functional managers, committees and stakeholders.
Ensure adequate project and process documentation.
Travel to other plant locations and suppliers as required.
The Textile Process Engineer must feel the following requirements:University Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Textile or Chemical preferred, others
can be considered based on experience).
Fluent in Spanish and English languages (both written and spoken). Knowledge in other
languages is desired, not a must.
Effective in MS Office Software business tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). MS Project, Minitab,
AutoCad & SolidWorks knowledge desired, not a must.
Demonstrated working experience in an equivalent position and sector (min 5 years)
Working experience in Lean Manufacturing environment is desired, not a must.
