Agency Derivatives Services (ADS) is a leading provider of agency execution and post-trade clearing services. By fully merging our Futures and Options Execution, Futures and Options Clearing, OTC Derivatives Clearing, and Foreign Exchange Prime Brokerage, we offer a cutting edge service to a diverse range of clients.

Overall purpose of role
EMEA regional lead to promote, sell and distribute the Barclays Futures electronic platform sales offering.
The role reports to the Global head of sales for the ADS business, with a responsibility to drive increase revenues from electronic futures execution sales.
Ability to set up and lead a sales programme including identifying target client base, partnering with vendor platforms as well as internal sales/execution desks
Demonstrate an excellent understanding of platforms available (and relative USPs) and build strong relationships with key buy side individuals within the market
Demonstrate an ability to drive material incremental revenues (£1mm) from electronic platform sales
Build a strong relationship with the US regional lead to drive a coherent global sales programme
Partner effectively with execution product and IT support teams and develop a leading client support model
Provide excellent transparency on status of the program and show demonstrable progress to key stakeholders
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
The individual will need to interact with multiple stakeholders within the business (ADS Exco) as well as more broadly across e-trading teams other Markets’ businesses.
Decision-making and Problem Solving
The role will require an individual to demonstrate a deep understanding and knowledge of the Futures markets, electronic platforms across the industry and the benefits of each as well as have strong relationship with target clients.
Risk and Control Objective
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards
· Excellent knowledge of EMS/OMS platforms across the industry
· Strong commercial approach, with excellent knowledge of the services to provide to clients
· Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Experience of working in fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Strong technical skills and significant industry experience
· Language skills are beneficial
