Description of the job
Flight Safety is at the heart of all ATR’s activities. The Flight Safety function is a transverse function relying on the resources of the business functions to achieve the ATR safety objective and launch safety initiatives. It is Flight Safety Department’s mission to coordinate all actions related to Flight Safety.
The core processes governing our activities to achieve the ATR Flight Safety objective are:
• Accident/Serious incident investigation
• Safety Management System (SMS)
• Regional Safety Plan
• Influence international safety community.
ATR has developed a company-wide integrated SMS, with the aim to further develop our systematic approach to identify potential safety risks related to our activities of a/c manufacturer.
The job holder will be assisting the SMS manager in running this activity.

Tasks & accountabilities
The job holder will primarily focus on the following tasks:
• Launch & follow-up mitigating actions in response to identified risks & opportunities
• Participate to the promotion of SMS within the company, with the objective to further enhance the company’s Safety Culture
• Participate to the development of the IT tools related to SMS (specifications definition).
• Provide support to the development of the Safety Performance Indicators that will enable to measure the efficiency of the system.

Required skills
BAC + 5
• General technical knowledge in aeronautics
• Interest in Flight Safety
• Good knowledge of French & English (both orally & in writing)
• Good knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel (formulas, pivot tables, Vbasic)
• Communication & presentation skills
