Description of the job
A vacancy for an Integration Customer Reliability Engineer/CRE (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the API & Integration products team within Digital Accelerator team.
The Digital Accelerator is an integral part of Airbus' IT department and is building and operating new business platforms and services adopting new technologies, automation, digital native skills and agile ways of working to accelerate our digitalization journey.
APIs play a key role in this digital transformation, enabling users to easily connect and share key information across diverse IT systems, building more collaborative ways of working, and increasing innovation and new business opportunities. As part of the API architecture, the Integration platform consists of a catalogue of services that provide application-to-application connectivity and interaction through ESB, XML Gateway, ETL, etc.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
o Being responsible for Airbus API & Integration Platforms’ success and smooth adoption across Airbus business units
o Mentoring and training Airbus internal and external customers with designing and implementing their applications for the Airbus API & Integration Platforms
o Evangelising best practices and design patterns for highly-available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services
o Supporting customers with optimising Platform costs while guarantying applications performance and reliability
o Working closely with the Product Owner to define functionalities and requirements of the API & Integration Platforms
o Working in small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product development
This role will involve some travel for business in Europe and as such, you must be able to travel accordingly.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
o Strong experience with Integration Technologies (Tibco, Mulesoft, ESB, ETL…)
o Strong understanding of networking, systems architecture, and micro-services architecture
o Proven track record working in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects
o Focus on delivering the best customer service
o Power of evangelisation through great listening, written, and verbal communication skills
o Strong communication and presentation skills
o Collaborative team player with a positive and curious mindset
o Ability to understand quickly and describe business needs
o Passion for emerging technologies and excited at the prospect of building upon your existing technical knowledge and learning new skills
o Unwavering commitment to operational security and best practices
o Negotiation level of English
o Advanced level of French would be a plus
